Community Support & Programs
C.A.P.A. provides resource and referral information for
children, youth and families, and is available to assist or coordinate
activities in the community that promote the
education and prevention of alcohol, tobacco
and other drugs.
In addition, we offer the following
community programs:
Community Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol, a program that seeks to reduce student access to alcohol by mobilizing community partners to evaluate and improve local policy and procedural issues, and environmental aspects that influence the access of alcohol to youth.
Parents Who Host, Lose the Most - is a public awareness campaign to address the social norming of alcohol use by underage youth.
Family Cafe - a parent-strengthening program
Senior Citizen Wellness Day - offering resources and activities that promote a healthy lifestyle
Special Community Events including free lectures on a variety of topics.
